it’s been awhile since i’ve done a post with my girls so here’s the latest. emilia is done with her first year of preschool! she’s a bit sad that she won’t see her friends or teachers for the summer but she’s excited to see them again next year. one more year of preschool and then off to the big leagues (i’m sure i’ll be crying more then).
from her first day…
to her last day…silly girl. her favorite food? broccoli, i laugh. her favorite toy is a rainbow. and her show? i have no clue but i love it.
i’m so amazed at how much she has grown and learned from her first year. we were fortunate to have our local elementary offer preschool so we love having her start her schooling with many kids that will become her friends through the years. plus we get to walk together to school, holding hands and having conversations. 
during the preschool celebration, she received an award of best friend to everyone. which is pretty accurate. she is beyond super friendly to all of her classmates and each morning before school, she greets each of them with cheerful good mornings. i love seeing the social butterfly already come to life with her. and she did receive her award while walking on her tippy toes, i think she’s telling us that she misses ballet.
on the sisterly front, these photos is a pretty accurate depiction of carina during her play time with emilia. she’s always highly unamused. emilia loves to pick her up but also to let go to see if she’ll stand (we’ve hit that stage where she’s standing for a few seconds), carina is never amused. 
she also loves to play leaves are falling all over her sister’s head. 
again, highly unamused. i find it incredibly amusing ha! 
anyway, just a small update of life here with these girls. days spent trying to amuse carina and keeping up with a very active four year old. luckily most of our summer will be spent in los angeles, i can use a break, ha! 🙂
