fall season is my busiest time that once december/january rolls around, i have a hard time mustering the energy to shoot. at least with december, i photograph the family festivities but come january, i have the hardest time picking up the camera. i think that it’s my time of the year when i can just refocus on myself, my family and my company without the weight of the camera. and then clockwork, at the end of january, i start to see the light again. the way the light will fall across the girls while they play or the way the shadows create mystery in the morning until the light awakens it. and that little shift makes me itch for the camera.
so for this adventure at the park, i packed my gear and let the girls roam the park.
and i get a giggle out of this photo. emilia wasn’t too happy that she couldn’t jump high enough so she pouted away in typical teenage fashion, ha!
