Oh man, donuts play and family fun is the best!
To celebrate mom’s birthday, our family fun photo session was doing what they love to do as a family: bike to the neighborhood playground and play on the jungle gym. Also since the day after was mom’s birthday, we included a surprise treat of Psycho Donuts.
What I really love about this family fun session was that this was their first time having a family fun photo shoot so we weren’t sure how the boys would be. But luckily, they had a blast, performing for the camera and for each other. Also, the oldest boy? He really wanted to wear his suit jacket which I absolutely loved! I love knowing that when they look back at their photos, they’re going to remember the donuts play and all the family fun….plus a few tears and photographing childhood tears and pouts which is also part of the family fun.
This was also their first time having Psycho Donuts and the kids had no idea what to expect when mom opened the lid to the box, they only knew that the box contained donuts. When mom opened up her treat, the kids sang in unison of ooooohhhhhhhh! They were shocked that donuts could be covered in marshmallows, cereal or cookies! They each picked out their own donuts and we were a bit surprised to see who picked what, like we didn’t expect the youngest to pick the old fashioned donut. But he did and he loved it. He did not want cereal or cookies haha!
