When it comes to headshots, I love environmental headshots on location, which is mostly outdoors. It adds a bit of casualness with professionalism. We work with the environment around us to make your portrait reflect you – approachable, energetic, professional yet with a sprinkle of your awesomeness.
If you’re curious about what to wear for your headshots, Pinterest is always a great starting point to think of colors and styles. Keep in mind the location, if you’re photographing in front of a red mural, a red outfit wouldn’t work.
I also love to encourage you to pamper yourself – a new haircut, freshly polished nails, makeup is professionally done, even picking out new sunglasses.
If we’re doing a business branding session, we’ll always make sure to incorporate headshots into our session throughout the different locations we’re photographing at. But if you’d thought that you only need a headshot, then a ten-minute pop-up is a great alternative!
