This family lives down the street from the park and mom wanted to have their family of five photos at the childhood park, what a perfect location for this family of five!
I originally photographed this family when I first moved into the neighborhood ten years ago so it was really fun to see the boys all grown up, graduated from college, and being adults. I had a great time joking along with them and they still laughed over my childish humor.
Also, their style was on point! I love how they chose neutral colors that pop against the green grass, in a natural way. I’ve blogged about this before but when thinking of wardrobe colors, think about the location the session is going to be at and steer your colors towards something that will pop against the background.
So next time you’re thinking about a location for your family photos, think about the spots around your neighborhood that you would spend a lot of time at when your children were younger. This could be any location – like a park, library, or restaurant as these places hold your special memories of your family.
