Have you been to Stanford Cactus Garden for your family photos? This was the first time that I photographed at the Stanford Cactus Garden and it was awesome, albeit super busy.
So if you’re thinking about having your session at Stanford Cactus Garden, here are a few tips:
- Consider time of year and time of day. We started our session 2 hours before golden hour during the family photo busy season. By the time we left, the garden was packed. There were lines at these awesome photo spots and even though the light was still gorgeous, having to wait in line for a spot isn’t exactly family fun for us.
- Parking is close by and convenient.
- There are no public restrooms or water fountains.
- Double check the calendar to make sure there are no football/Stanford games/events happening otherwise, the traffic through the campus can be pretty busy.
