Bay Area Family Photos – San Jose Photographer – Photos by Kim E
After we finished exploring at the Google Visitor’s Center, it was family fun time to explore Charleston Park. There’s a cute stream of water that flows down steps, a wide open grass field, and simple play structures like bike locks.
This is the time of our session when I love to let the little kids become my photo assistant. I take out my Fuji Instax camera and let them play. The kids love it and I love how it’s a little treat that they get to take home right away from our session. Families collect them through the years and I love it when families share their Instax wall from our past sessions. This is a great little treat that I include in all my family sessions.
When we finished our session at Charleston Park, we headed to the parking lot for our last bit of fun. Photographers always see the most mundane nook become a scenic location, like right next to the parking lot. We parked our cars right next to a small hill that was covered in fall colors and leaves with the sun flowing beautifully through the trees. Others see a parking lot and I see the perfect place to finish our session by throwing leaves with a sweet hint of fall goodness.
