San Jose – Bay Area – Family Photography
I love this family and how they are always up for some kind of adventure for their family session! This year, they wanted their session to be in the majestic redwoods! So knowing that they love the redwoods and amazing food, the best location for their session was the Los Altos Redwoods!
This small nook in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Los Altos is a great loop trial surrounded by redwoods and just as a heads up, lots of photography sessions happening. We timed their session to be more in the early afternoon instead of during golden hour to avoid a lot of the other sessions but it was still pretty busy.
Mom mentioned that they went shopping the night before our session for their clothes and they nailed it! The pops of burgundy and mustard yellow compliment the gorgeous surroundings of the Los Altos Redwoods!
With mustard yellow, it’s a color that screams sunshine and warmth. Burgundy adds to the natural color palette of the redwoods, matching the rich redwood bark. Combining these two colors into their wardrobe palette was a great way to help them pop agaidst the backdrop of the redwoods. Not only do they help bring the pop of color, but they pair nicely with blues. The combination of these colors really tie in together with the family and wtih the redwoods!
