San Jose is a city full of awesome photography locations and I love exploring and learning what a family or business owner wants to have their session at. Here are some of my favorite San Jose photo locations, what is your favorite spot that catches your eye?
- Santa Teresa Bernal-Gulnac Barn: nestled in the foothills in the South San Jose area that has two barns, a chicken coop, and a nice open field that leads to a turtle pond.
- Martial Cottle: Wide open field that has gorgeous oak trees and easy pathways if a kid likes to bike.
- Rosicrucian Museum: For unique and cool architecture.
- Children’s Discovery Museum: Fun colors to bring extra pops of color to your headshots or portraits
- San Pedro Square: For an urban background, San Pedro Square has some great backgrounds and nooks for a creative backdrop
- San Jose City Hall: The rotunda and all the buildings in the background can add a bit of corporate feel for headshots
- Japanese Friendship Garden: The lake is dry in some sections and there is still construction going around the gardens but with creative angles, you can make the location work.
- Hayes Mansion: A classic hotel with classic and clean landscaping. It’s also next door to Edenvale Park so you can have an extra mix of looks.
