When your senior session includes a flag toss and a golden sunset over San Jose… you know it’s going to be magic! For her high school photos, she’s captain of her high school’s color guard and preparing to head into Santa Clara’s Vanguard team for the summer! So it was an absolute delight to photograph her in her element. We headed to the hills of San Jose for her senior photos, and the location delivered: soft golden grass, rolling hills, and a view that stretched for miles. But honestly, what stole the show was her energy, her confidence, and that giant flag she spun with such grace and joy.
This session was all about capturing HER—her spirit, her strength, her style. We laughed through windy flag throws, paused to soak up the light, and made space for the quiet, reflective moments, too. Because senior year is a mix of all that—movement, stillness, excitement, and a little “what’s next?”
