A newborn session in your home is less stressful. The last thing I want to do is create stress for the family so when you choose to have your photo session in your home, there are less stressors for the family. You can hang out on your couch, in your bed, and photograph the babies around your family spaces, so the images are more natural and authentic. These are the images that you will treasure in the years to come.
Be comfortable at home. Leaving the house with a new baby is stressful. Car seats, extra diapers, extra clothes, you never know what you’re going to need. So, leaving the home for a newborn photo session is not comfortable, and we want your experience for the session to be comfortable. So you don’t have to be concerned about where you are, if the baby will cry, or if you need to feed the baby, or if there’s a blowout. Being at home allows you to take care of anything if anything arises.
A session that is unique to your family. An in home newborn photo session that takes place in your home truly is authentic. Not only are your photos where you spend your time as a family, but you have these images of elements in your house that freeze time. The cute pillows, the homemade blankets, the bedrooms, these images will always be unique to your family. Plus when your baby grows up and looks back at these photos, they see what their home was like at this time.
