one of the things that i loved the most from my adventure getaway to photo field trip in february was taking the pause, composing and shooting film. richard photo lab provided next day scan/prints so it was incredible to take advantage of their service and exhaling when receiving my prints. seeing that i didn’t mess them up too bad and that they were actually gorgeous. since then, i’ve been doing a bit of a hybrid with my sessions, capturing part of the sessions in film and waiting eagerly for my rolls to return. this weekend, i’m going to take the plunge and do an entire family session in film. i’m excited and nervous but this family is incredible for wanting to be my test subjects 🙂
