Kid headshots in San Jose – if your kid is looking for headshots for their modeling, acting, theatre, or even dancing portfolios, let’s have some fun!
Photos by Kim E offers forty-five-minute headshot sessions that are meant only for kids. It’s just enough time to get their photos taken but not too long to get bored. To get the photos that you’re looking for in the short time frame, it’s important to thoroughly fill out the questionnaire.
The session questionnaire is emailed after booking your date. The questionnaire includes information like what are you using the images for, do you have specifications for your headshots (i.e. must be black and white, only show neck up), and if your child auditions for something specific and need to have that look in mind. These questions help us get the images that you need for your kid’s headshots.
Wardrobe help is also provided before our session and we make sure that you arrive camera ready. That means clothes ironed, cleaned, little to no makeup, hair ties on hand, outer layers on hand. While I roam around with your kid, you follow with any items needed to quickly change hair (i.e. combs) or put on a jacket. Sometimes kids don’t want parents close by so if that’s the case, I ask the parents to be close by if anything is needed.
