Bay Area Locations for Fall Colors – San Jose – Photos by Kim E
The fall season is approaching, and I always love finding new locations for beautiful fall scenery. When we think of fall colors in the Bay Area, it’s nothing like the East Coast with their fall foliage but we do have beautiful areas that still showcase the vibrancy of fall. Here are some favorite locations for fall colors in the Bay Area.
Something to note is that depending on the time of the season, some of these locations can be busy with other sessions so timing might need to shift to avoid crowds. Also, sometimes the fall colors can shift really quickly depending on how the weather has been. We can provide information on the best time of the month to get these colors but it’s not always guaranteed.
Depending on the location, it might include a bit of a hike, so keep that in mind when it comes to the location. And don’t worry, if we do have to do a mini-hike, we’ll make sure to include a wagon so that you don’t have to lug anything plus you can even think of a change of clothes or shoes.
Also, do your photographer a wonderful favor by getting on their calendar early because the closer to the season, the more our calendars can get booked up!
