When it comes to Photos by Kim E’s family photo sessions, they’re more than just family photos. It’s about what your family loves, what you do together, a snippet of your time together with all the fun and love of your family. It’s savoring this moment in time with your family while you enjoy donuts for breakfast before heading to a park for traditional portraits. And once we’ve taken the portraits and everyone is still in the mood, we can think about celebrating at your favorite ice cream spot for some more photos.
Since family photos with ice cream work best when it’s the end of the session time, this allows our time to be more lifestyle/documentary where I hang out, sneak some bites of ice cream with you, and let you guys enjoy the time together with a sugar treat!
What made this location extra special was that we photographed here when she was 3 years old so it was a great way to recreate some ice cream family photos now that she’s almost a teenager! We even tried to recreate one of mom’s favorite photos, the one that’s still on her screen saver.
