I love photographing extended family photos and this family has been doing these for a very long time!
The parents divorced and remarried so their extended family photos are a combination of their two families. Awesome! We also met in the past at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, which you wouldn’t think works as a location for an extended family session but that session was so much fun and everyone absolutely loved the fun and colorfulness of going to Santa Cruz.
This past session, they wanted something with greenery as a backdrop so we went to Stanford Cactus Gardens. This location was great as we included a wide variety of combination photos of the two families, all in the garden setting. During our session, we also do their own family sessions during our time together. This way, they get a wonderful combination of family photos!
